Sharon Lifschutz, UVM
Sharon began her career at UVM Hillel in 2011 as the Engagement and Leadership Coordinator and currently serves as the Associate Director. Originally from Pennsylvania, Sharon graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in Jewish Studies and is thrilled that she could turn her passion for Jewish life into a career. Supporting students and giving them the resources to turn their ideas into actions is central to the work she does at UVM Hillel, and she is committed to helping students find connections to Jewish life that are meaningful and accessible.
In May 2019, Sharon earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at UVM. During the past eight years at UVM Hillel, Sharon has studied in Israel through Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, participated in cohort 4 of LAPID, an international professional development opportunity through Hillel International, and is an alumna of ACCELERATE, an executive training program through Hillel International. In her spare time Sharon loves to sing, be with friends, and catch up on TV shows with her partner Leon.
