Rabbi Becca Walker, MSU

Rabbi Becca Walker (aka Rabbi B) is the Senior Jewish Educator for Michigan State University Hillel and the Hillel Campus Alliance of Michigan (HCAM). In 2016, she earned her rabbinic ordination from The Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles. She has been an educator for over 10 years, teaching at Religious schools and summer camps and is excited to be an educator in the JLF program.

During rabbinical school she served as rabbinic Intern at Congregation Or Tzion in Scottsdale, AZ; she also trained and worked as a community organizer in Los Angeles and completed a unit of hospital chaplaincy training. She graduated with a B.A in Talmud from The Jewish Theological Seminary and a B.A in religion from Columbia University in 2010. Rabbi B enjoys singing, hosting Shabbat dinners, anything Boston (her hometown!) and exploring the national parks. Her favorite kitchen utensil is an immersion blender (but her mandolin/vegetable slicer is a close second).
