Aderet Drucker is a JLF Educator at the University of Maryland.
Rabbi Aderet Drucker is the Campus Rabbi & Director of Jewish Life and Learning for Maryland Hillel at University of Maryland. Prior to moving to Maryland, she served as the Senior Rabbi and spiritual leader of Congregation B’nai Shalom in Northern California. Rabbi Drucker received her rabbinic ordination from The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) in 2012. Rabbi Drucker is the recipient of the prestigious Gladstein Fellowship in Entrepreneurial Rabbinic Leadership. She has completed training in pastoral care and community organizing. Rabbi Drucker is a firm believer in the importance of strengthening relationships within the Jewish community as well as interfaith relationships. While living in the Bay Area, Rabbi Drucker served on the Rabbinic Advisory Council of Shalom Bayit, an organization working to end domestic violence, served on the board of the Contra Costa Interfaith Housing organization, working to end homelessness and to support homeless individuals and their families, and was selected to participate in the first cohort of the Clergy Leadership Incubator (CLI), a program of CLAL – The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, working on innovation in the rabbinate. Rabbi Drucker lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband, Brett, and their two daughters, Avital and Shaiya.
