Doniel Kaye, Virginia Tech

Doniel (Doni) Kaye grew up in Denver, Colorado attending Jewish day school K-12, and graduated from Stanford University in 2015. In college, he studied psychology and American studies, and was involved in Hillel, Chabad, Jewish summer camps, outdoor education, volunteerism, and various other endeavors. In collegiate leadership roles, he supported program planning and execution, fostered relationship building with students, engaged in local and Israel-based volunteer initiatives, and facilitated gatherings featuring prominent faculty and other leaders speaking on topics ranging from Ethiopian Jewry to Sustainability in Israel.  After Stanford, Doniel became involved in hospitality management at luxury hotels in Colorado and Utah, while pursuing a graduate degree in psychology, and continuing to explore his passions for experiential learning, relationship development, Jewish engagement, and outdoor recreation. Outside of academics and professional life, Doniel can be found adventuring with his three brothers, making trips to Israel, summiting peaks, engrossed in literature, distance running, cheering at athletic events and concerts, and schmoozing with friends. Doniel is ecstatic to serve in the role of Ezra Fellow at Virginia Tech, where he plans to channel his experience and energies to enrich Jewish life on campus.
