Deb Fendrich, Milwaukee

Deb joined the Hillel Milwaukee staff in September 2016, after six years of working as a marketing professional for the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC in Milwaukee. Deb grew up as an active member of the Milwaukee Jewish community - attending Jewish Day School, Jewish overnight camp, and being actively involved in BBYO throughout high school (and even now as a volunteer advisor).  Deb received her BA in Journalism – Strategic Communications with a Minor in Management from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and more recently, she received her MBA from the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Deb is the Assistant Director at Hillel Milwaukee and is a current member of the 5th cohort of the Debra S. and Joseph S. Weinberg ACCELERATE Executive Training Program through Hillel International.

Deb was actively involved in her Hillel as an undergraduate and loves being back in the Hillel world. She understands the importance of connecting with Jewish identity at this stage of life and enjoys providing opportunities to explore that identity. When Deb is not at Hillel, you can find her exploring up-and-coming areas in Milwaukee with her husband Ben, watching the Green Bay Packers / counting down the days until it is football season, or at the dog park with her dog Maya.
